Schleswig-Holstein joined the three other German Net Zero Valleys from the Rhenish mining region, Lusatia and north-western Lower Saxony at EXPO REAL 2026 in Munich. Their joint presence highlighted the four regions’ potential as industrial locations for the future and their role in the transition to climate-neutral industry.
How can regional strengths be combined, investment in net-zero technologies encouraged and new industrial value created? These questions shaped the joint exhibition presence and discussions with businesses, investors and other partners. A highlight was the panel discussion “From Valley to Value”, which focused on the opportunities offered by regional cooperation.
The joint appearance demonstrated the importance of sharing experience and expertise to drive innovation and create attractive conditions for investment.
